HVAC Improvements to County Jail as Part of an Energy Performance Contract
Brown County, Kansas

Completed bid packet will be submitted to the Brown County Clerk’s Office, Courthouse, 601 Oregon Street, Hiawatha, Kansas, by no later than 4:00 pm on Nov. 13th. Late bids will not be accepted. One completed copy of the bid packet should be submitted. Failure to provide the information requested in the Bid Form may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Bid packets can be picked up from the Brown County Clerk or online at brcoks.org. Bids will be opened Nov. 16th at 8:30 am in the Brown County Commission Room, 1st Floor, Brown County Courthouse. Brown County will award the bid for HVAC to the lowest and best bidder and reserves the right to reject any and all bids.


Included in this bid packet are:
1. Bid Form
2. Scope of work for the mechanical improvements to be bid.
3. Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) sample contract that will be used for this project. The agreement will be between Energy Solutions Professionals (Design-Builder) and the awarded bidder (Design-Build Subcontractor).
